Mouthguards need to be fitted properly for ultimate safety, but the school should not be struggling to arrange a fitting day, then asking parents to spend a bucketload!
Last year, we discovered how easy ‘Remote Fittings’ really are. We are in direct contact with parents, who can use our website to book a video-call fitting appointment that suits their time schedule. We send the impression materials and guide remotely with 1-on-1 support with a member of our team to get an accurate representation of their child’s teeth. Then with our free return service, they just drop the parcel into the post-box.
Rather than visiting the school, taking up space and bringing children out of lessons, this method means school staff aren’t required to supervise a fitting session and instead can focus on their students and their every-day duties (of which there are already so many).
If there’s a need for it, of course a fitting day is something we still do on mass for our schools, boasting the most efficient, hassle-free service from start to finish, removing all legwork for school staff.
